In our workshop with Hedi Schaefer, we learned that design thinking teaches an attitude that will enable you to find solutions for challenges and put your goals into action. Design thinking does not allow you to dwell on all the reasons why something does not work. It has the potential to move us forward as a bank.

With her exact observations, specific methodological advice, and personal encouragement, Hedi Schaefer’s professional attitude and drive as well as her excellent sense of what is needed at what time were invaluable assets when developing a work project. I was thrilled and often recommend her to others!
We asked Miss Schaefer to assist us in preparing for a pitch. Miss Schaefer gave us valuable advice with regard to our empathy work. Without her input, it would have been difficult to convince the team.
Working with Hedi Schaefer was an eye-opener for us. With a lot of creativity, empathy, and her profound knowledge, she designed a method that helped students and teachers to develop themes for a participative music project. In addition, design thinking methods became a crucial building block for an interdisciplinary conference that we conceptualized. We were surprised how many creative and innovative ideas the children AND adults of our target groups developed with Hedi’s assistance.
Hedi Schaefer led a creative and effective value-workshop for the 25 members of the software development department at Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. During the workshop, she responded individually to the needs and methods of our agile team, showed a lot of empathy for its heterogeneous structure, and flexibly adjusted the workshop to the pace of our discussions and implementation. We were very happy with the results and felt very comfortable working with her.
When we started I was thinking that it was just another boring 'method' course, but I was wrong. You really gave me something that now I'll have with me forever, to all of us I think.
We had the pleasure of having Hedi Schaefer and Flavia Bleuel lead a Design thinking workshop here in Harpa for the Icelandic opera with excellent results. They were both inspiring and professional and the participants all agreed that it was the most interesting workshop that they had participated in. We worked on a lot of ideas that we have already put into action with great results and plan to do this regularly with them to maintain the innovative spirit and evolution of our institution as well as reaching out to new audiences and keeping the optimistic spirit that we need in order to make the most of our opportunities.
